Managing Your Money During this Crisis

Latest Roundup of a Few Links I'm Reading & Following...

A lot of people have done a lot of hard work recently in getting some good information out there, so I'd like to share some of what I'm following...

First, the LAYPERSON’S GUIDE TO GETTING YOUR STIMULUS MONEY: How to navigate the legislation and the private options available to small business owners so you can have cash-on-hand and relief during the COVID-19 pandemic, by Jennifer Kem, Founder of Master Brand Institute put together a very comprehensive document to help small business owners.

Next, Short on Cash? Here's Some Advice For Families Stretching Their Budget. It's what I'm telling my clients right now to create more space to breathe.

Each day, Logan Alec, CPA's YouTube Channel features a new video to give you an update on the government's stimulus check, the Paycheck Protection Program, and to answer questions that are related to those subjects, as well as taxes.

State-by-state COVID-19 tax return relief from AICPA is where you can get more tax info. It's pretty dry though, so I would start with Logan's YouTube videos and then if you need more info, you can go this document.

COVID RELIEF AND ADVOCACY FOR NYC FREELANCERS AND GIG WORKERS is on a NYC City Councilperson's website, but it does have a lot of good info for financial help to freelancers and gig workers in NYC.

Next Thursday, April 30th at 2pm PT/5pm ET, I'm going to host another FREE training and Q&A on How to Manage Your Money During a Time of Crisis. I've heard from many of you that the last one was really helpful and made everyone a lot calmer. So, I'd love to do it again! Please go to the link below to sign up, so Dan, on my team, can send you an e-mail with the Zoom link and to remind you when it's coming up!

With Gratitude,
