Are You Ready To Make A Change And Achieve the Financial Freedom You Deserve?

My friend DaJuan Johnson recently wrote an email with the subject line: "

Nobody Wants To Do The Damn Work...

...without a guarantee."

He went on to say:

"Everyone wants the Issa Rae story, but nobody wants to do the work for it."

So true.

An objection I hear often is... you want me to work on my money mastery for a year in the Financial Freedom for Creatives Club? I don't know if I'm going to have the time.

I have to tell you that if you're already thinking that, I know it's not going to happen for you.

Because you must MAKE the time.

Also, think about how long it's taken you to get to where you are now in your finances.

What's ONE year to actually achieve true financial freedom?

If I were a Mastercard commercial, I would say that's priceless.

Now imagine what it is that YOU want, this time next year...

What does your life look like a year from now?

Are you bringing in the kind of money you want from doing something you truly love?

Have you paid off all of your debts or know that you're a month away from doing so, and it hasn't felt like a sacrifice at all?

Do you have savings for the first time in your life?

Are you getting ready to buy a house or close on a house because you've figured out how to do this, even if your income isn't all that consistent from month to month?

Do you have the confidence that you can raise your rates and not be fearful that you'll lose work over it?

Does life just seem more joyful and peaceful because you're not living paycheck to paycheck?

A member of the Financial Freedom for Creatives Club said, "I've gone from having the worst debt of my life to being in a position where I will be debt-free by the end of the year." She also said:

I've gone from having no savings (and I mean NONE) to saving at least 10% of income every single week. I've gone from crossing my fingers during tax season to confidently hiring a professional. I've gone from hating parts of myself to loving myself fully, mistakes and all, because who I am today is a product of all that has happened in my past. It takes work. It takes time, thought, energy, and above all, belief, but what seemed impossible (11) months ago, is now my reality. Her work has profoundly changed me as an individual and I have never felt more intuitively connected to my future path than ever before. I'm beyond grateful and will always treasure Katy for this journey, which truly, has only just begun!

To make these kinds of profound changes, it takes time, energy and yes...belief. Because as one of my spiritual teachers say, "We don't get what we want. We get what we believe."

If what you believe has been ingrained in your being for your entire life, of course it's going to take some time to shift courses from that that well-worn track that's now keeping you stuck in the mud to finding a different path and embodying it into the way you operate, the way you move in the world, so that, this year, may be the beginning of a transformation that lasts.

It's life-changing. It's why last week I mentioned a lot of clients tell me things like...besides making more money and paying off my debts, they also tell me, "I'm engaged!" or "I'm pregnant!"

Life changing work starts with a commitment to do the work and knowing that it takes time, thoughtfulness and mindfulness.

When you’re in doubt or fear, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and repeat this silently: I am committed to do the work. Abundance is all around me, and I am receiving all that is good and meant for me.

With so much Gratitude,
